ACCOMMODATIONS

409 Wilderness Cabins, 784 Campsites; check-in time: 3 p.m. or after (Cabins), 1 p.m. or after (sites); check-out time: 11 a.m. or before.  Rooms for guests with disabilities are available.  All rooms are non-smoking.

Wilderness Cabins: One-bedroom units that sleep six.  Features include: one double bed and a set of bunk beds, separate Murphy/pull-down bed in sitting area, fully-equipped kitchen with microwave oven, dining table that seats six, air conditioning, full bathroom with hair dryer, two color cable televisions, VCR, telephone and daily housekeeping. Each Wilderness Cabin also has an outdoor patio-deck with a picnic table and charcoal grill, and parking for one vehicle.


Campsites allow a maximum of 10 guests and feature a level paved pad, picnic table and charcoal grill. All are surrounded by lush wilderness and near Comfort Stations with restrooms, laundry facilities, ice dispensers and telephones.

Partial Hook-up Campsites: Ideal for tents, conversion vans and pop-up campers, include hook-ups for water and electricity.


Full Hook-up Campsites: Good for all types of recreational vehicles, include hook-ups for water, electricity and sewer.
Preferred Campsites also include cable and are located near Pioneer Hall restaurants.


Pets are permitted in Full Hook-up Campsites for an additional charge. Tents are available for rent.

8/10 for Location: A much more cost efficient way of being so close to Cinderella Castle than staying at a monorail resort.

6/10 for Service: At the campground, here you make your beds and empty your own trash.  Cabins offer full housekeeping service.

6/10 for Dining: Home to the Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue and Trail's End Buffet.  Not much in dining choices beyond these two restaurants.

8/10 for Pool/Recreation: Water craft rental, fishing, tennis, volleyball, basketball, horse back riding and two heated swimming pools.

7/10 for Overall Impression: Enjoy magic from dawn to dusk at the only campground at the Walt Disney World Resort. Hike winding paths, explore nature trails on horseback and have the time of your life in the great outdoors among hundreds of acres of natural beauty.
